 Porträt Bernardus Roelofs

Bernardus Roelofs, Head of ETF Sales Trading at Flow Traders, has more than 15 years' experience in investment banking, including more than 7 years' as specialized ETF Sales Trader. Until 2000 he worked for Commerzbank, Frankfurt, within the ECM division responsible for capital market transaction. At HVB/Unicredit in Munich he started out as a capital market expert, and thereafter ETF Sales Trading specialist. In 2008, he moved to Flow Traders, Europe's leading ETF market maker, responsible for all ETF & ETC Sales Trading activities for institutional investors.

Claudia Wais

Claudia Wais, Regional Director at SAM Indexes, is responsible for SAM’s index business in the Nordic region as well as Germany, Austria and the german-speaking part of Switzerland. Before joining SAM in July 2006, she worked in the Marketing Department of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken in Frankfurt, Germany and was responsible for product marketing within several asset classes as well as for the development and implementation of a top customer retention program. Claudia Wais holds a Masters Degree in Business Management of Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Gerhard Schwediauer

Gerhard Schwediauer, CIIA, has worked with Wiener Börse since 1998 in different positions. Amongst other things he was responsible for the creation and the enlargement of the product and index portfolio of Wiener Börse. In his current role as Senior Business Development Officer he is in charge of building business relationships with other stock exchanges and of cooperation in the field of index business.

Porträt Detlef Glow

Detlef Glow, Head of Research, Central, North and Eastern Europe, is Lipper’s Head of Research for Central, North and Eastern Europe. Detlef joined Lipper in 2005 from Feri Wealth Management, where he was Director of Portfolio Management, managing segregated accounts for high net worth individuals (HNWI). Prior to Feri Wealth Management, he spent nine years with tecis Holding AG, most recently as Head of Fund Research for tecis Asset Management AG. Detlef has an MBA focusing on Financial Services from the University of Wales/Cardiff, as well as a BA in Business Administration.

 Peter Wölger

Peter Wölger, Regional Director for the Nordics, Baltics, Russia and the Ukraine is based in Stockholm and responsible for business development and sales of the globally integrated index families of STOXX Ltd. He is responsible for the sales of licenses to financial institutions for issuing related indexing products. He actively supports licensees in bringing the indices and index products closer to their institutional and retail investors. He develops and maintains relationships with key clients and in key markets in order to raise the profile of STOXX Ltd in his markets.

Henrik Af Donner

Henrik af Donner, Director, Nordic Markets, UBS, is based in Stockholm where he is responsible (since 2006) for relationship management, business development and client servicing for the Nordic Region.

Dr. Markus Thomas

Dr. Markus Thomas, founder of XENIX, is a leading European expert in the field of indices, investment funds and ETFs. He started his career in 1999 at a German asset manager and he worked a couple of years for Siemens Financial Services (SFS) on Investment and Pension related themes. From 2006 to autumn 2009, Markus Thomas was head of sales for two index providers (STOXX Ltd. and Dow Jones Indexes) and responsible for business development in Central- and Eastern Europe. He founded XENIX in September 2009 in Berlin.
